Yudil Chatim, Education & Culture Attache of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Beijing, China, Visits LVTC for Study and Exchange

From News Center (Text by Sun Yunxi from the Office of International Exchange; Photo by Convergence Media Center) In order to further deepen the cooperation and exchanges between LVTC and Indonesian colleges, a team of three members led by Yudil Chatim, Education & Culture Attache of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Beijing, China was invited to visit LVTC on April 6, 2023. Liu Zilin, Secretary of the Party Committee of LVTC, Pang Zhiyong, Director of Liuzhou Foreign Affairs Office of Guangxi, Wei Lin, Vice President of LVTC, and heads of relevant departments of LVTC warmly met the guests.

At the symposium, Liu Zilin delivered a welcome speech on behalf of LVTC and comprehensively introduced the cooperation between LVTC and Indonesian colleges. Pang Zhiyong also introduced the cooperation and exchanges between LVTC and Indonesian colleges. Yudil Chatim introduced the requirements and prospects of the Ministry of Education of Indonesia for vocational education. According to Yudil Chatim, the concept of school-enterprise cooperation in future vocational colleges proposed by the Ministry of Education of Indonesia has been put into practice in LVTC. Yudil Chatim said that during his work at the Ministry of Education of Indonesia, he witnessed the signing of the cooperation agreement among LVTC, Liugong Machinery Co., Ltd. and Jakarta State Polytechnic. He will always focus on the project and support the application for China's Luban Workshop based on the LiuGong-LVTC International Craftsman College of Indonesia jointly built by the three parties. Yudil Chatim hoped that LVTC could visit Indonesia as scheduled and make efforts to sign cooperation and exchange agreements with more Indonesian colleges. In the future, he will also arrange for Indonesian colleges to visit and exchange with LVTC, to learn about LVTC's school-enterprise cooperation model.

Before the symposium, in the company of Wei Lin, Yudil Chatim and his team visited the training base in the Guantang Campus of LVTC. They were deeply impressed by the advanced teaching equipment and the in-depth implementation of the school-enterprise integration model. During the visit, Yudil Chatim asked about the progress of cooperation between LVTC and Indonesian colleges and the arrangements for Indonesian students to study in LVTC in the future. After learning that students from various partner institutions have started online Chinese language training and will study at LVTC in September, Yudil Chatim said that he will meet with these students before they start their study at LVTC, and ask them to cherish this opportunity.

At present, LVTC has signed agreements on cooperative education with 2 vocational colleges, 1 vocational high school and 1 general high school in Indonesia, and has made rapid progress in the cooperative education project with LiuGong and Jakarta State Polytechnic. To be specific, the training base has been constructed, and Indonesian teachers have been trained and certified. At the same time, training for the first order-orientated class has been started on March 6 this year. Students will study and practice at LVTC and LiuGong in September. This visit reflects the recognition and support of the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Beijing, China for the cooperation between LVTC and Indonesian colleges. In the future, LVTC will continue to uphold a prudent and pragmatic attitude towards cooperation, and firmly advance the cooperation projects between LVTC and Indonesian colleges, to inject new vitality into the educational and cultural exchanges between China and Indonesia.
